the problem with a lot of solution dependencies.

i transport myself a couple of months ago in my Linux work environment. a packge would contain all modules with one makefile. each module has its own makefile called by the head makefile and everything runs smoothly from there.

i warp back to the present and here i am struggling and juggling 5 visual studio 2005 instances on two lcd monitors wondering what to do with the missing .dll problem.

a particular .DLL had two dependent .dlls that i was able to find and copied over to the bin folder. it was not enough when the software was still complaining of the .dll not being able to open.

i already tried asking my co-member for the .dlls and it doesn’t seem to work. now i cleaned the package and restarted to build once again and waiting for kingdom come to happen.

i like how everything works well but hate it with great passion when something fails. because its an epic fail of massive proportions…blah!

and now here i am compiling around XX thousand lines of code for like the nth time today.

*sigh* sometimes i wish i just became a barista.
