short updates? twitterer or plurker?

with today’s fast everything, fast food, fast car, fast faster, comes a handy way of updating your life with friends. long entries are so year 2002.

to me, i like updating blogs but have the tendency to drift away from the topic most of the time, or forget about writing completely.

but with things like twitter and plurk. there’s no need for the ridiculously long blogspot full or sordid emo-ness.

whats the difference? depends on your fancy. twitter has more of  a clean and very minimal layout. plurk sort of is a melting pot of updates in a right to left timeline.

the only reason i like twitter because it can be accompanied by loudtwitter for shipment of tweets to your blog. plus i can tweet normally without the overwhelming updtes of friends like plurk.

but for the more sociable person and who has a lot of friends, plurk might be a good tool for you guys, since each plurk can be plurked and plurked more, it’s a melting pot of insults, jokes, laughs, ideas and of course plurks. so i think i might stick to twitter, put out the “p” in plurk for friends, and think about using the python script for the tweet <-> plurk mania in case things get too dual core.

but hey i leave the deciding factor up to you.
